She collaborates with children (through Bachon se Tabdeeli, an art education initiative) to explore their creative expression and suggest curricular intervention through the arts, in government schools. Jalil has presented at (Art Education and Printmaking) conferences in Lahore, Islamabad, New York, Fort Worth (Texas), San Diego, Chicago and St. Louis (Missouri) and has exhibited her work in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, U. A. E., U.S.A, Spain, Portugal and India.

Bachon se Tabdeeli is an art initiative led by artists Shahana Rajani and Rabeya Jalil. It enables children to creatively visualize their stories and experiences of the city, which are routinely marginalized. We believe that children are active social agents who are invested in a civic ownership of their  neighborhoods and public spaces, which adult residents of the city have long forgotten. Children see the world around them with fresh and critical eyes, and experience the city in all its diversity with its endless possibilities for play, adventure and discovery. Through art making, children are able to express themselves freely and creatively, and produce meaningful urban narratives that expand our understanding of the city. Bachon se Tabdili has worked with children (aged 6-15 years) in over 20 government schools in Karachi, and now one in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This time, Beenish Khalid and Rabeya Jalil have partnered with PUAN, USEFP to create Hear and Touch Shamsabad.
